Mr Muneeb Shabir – Tral

Mr. Muneeb Shabir’s kitchen in Tral was given a modern, practical, and aesthetically pleasing makeover by dDecos Interiors, exceeding the client’s expectations. The kitchen now has a modern, minimalist design, giving Mr. Muneeb Shabir and his family a chic, functional room to prepare meals, dine, and make cherished memories.

1. Overview of the project: Mr. Muneeb Shabir contacted dDecos Interiors to refurbish and make his kitchen a contemporary, useful, and aesthetically pleasing room. He desired a kitchen that would serve his family’s culinary demands while also displaying his own tastes and preferences. He wanted his kitchen to be a place where he could cook, host guests, and spend time with family and friends because it was such an essential aspect of his house.

2. Design Idea: Mr. Muneeb Shabir’s kitchen was designed with a modern, minimalist aesthetic and a dash of rustic charm in mind. To make the kitchen area effective, aesthetically pleasant, and in accordance with the client’s tastes, the design team at dDecos Interiors set out to create a seamless combination of utility, aesthetics, and modern design features.

3. Materials & Color palette: The kitchen’s colour palette was carefully selected to produce a bright, airy, and welcoming feeling. In order to achieve a contemporary and minimalist design, neutral colours like white, gray, and light wood were chosen. For longevity and simple maintenance, high-quality materials were selected. The countertops were built of sturdy quartz in a light grey tint, and the cabinets were made of elegant white laminates with simple hardware. Herringbone-patterned subway tiles on the backsplash gave the room a sense of traditional charm.

4. Layout & Space Planning: The kitchen’s layout was modified to make the most of the space at hand and enhance kitchen flow. To create a practical and ergonomic kitchen, the design team at dDecos Interiors meticulously considered the location of key elements including the appliances, worktops, sink, and storage cabinets. To improve efficiency and make cooking for Mr. Muneeb Shabir and his family simple, the kitchen was separated into many areas, including a cooking zone, a prep zone, and an eating zone.

5. Solutions for Storage: Mr. Muneeb Shabir’s kitchen needed to have a lot of storage. Custom cabinets and drawers were created by dDecos Interiors to maximise storage capacity in order to satisfy this demand. To provide effective storage of utensils, cookware and pantry items, the cabinets included pull-out shelves, drawers with dividers and organisers. To prevent clutter in the main kitchen area, a specialised pantry unit was also built to hold bulk foods and other kitchen necessities.

6. Lighting: Lighting was essential in improving the kitchen’s overall appearance and operation. To create a cheery and welcoming atmosphere, a mix of task lighting, ambient lighting, and accent lighting was employed. To provide sufficient task lighting for food preparation, LED recessed lights were put in the ceiling, while pendant lights over the island and dining area offered a touch of contemporary elegance and visual flair.

7. Finishing Touches: To give the kitchen the perfect finishing touch, dDecos Interiors carefully chose décor and accessories that fit the overall design theme. To accentuate the modern and minimalist design of the area, basic yet exquisite dinnerware, sleek kitchen appliances, and minimalist bar stools were chosen.
